In 2010, NMIC completed over 2,400 Tax Returns for
Northern Manhattan’s poorest residents |
The Earned Income Tax Credit Program at NMIC ended on
Thursday, April 15, 2010. NMIC worked in collaboration
with Food Bank to provide free income tax preparation
services to community residents. Fourteen tax preparers
and one supervisor prepared over 2,400 tax returns. More
detail to follow on the total amount of the refunds that
our community residents received.
